Description
Add on Wireless Plug-In door chime receiver. The compact design makes this receiver the perfect compliment to the Carlon, Dimango wireless door chime products. The RC3733D has all the great features of the larger, RC3253 Door Chime but with a smaller, 1 1/4” inch speaker.
If you have an existing Dimango/Carlon wireless pushbutton or the RC3050T Extend-A-Door Chime transmitter, this product will work by simply plugging it in.
The receiver has volume control for high/medium/low and is capable of playing six different sounds, which are determined by the transmitter, whether it is a pushbutton or the RC3050T or other Carlon Dimango transmitter.
This receiver is featured in the Carlon RC3730D economy wireless door chime.

It’s nice being able to hear the doorbell in many rooms in the house, but the transmitter does not really function any more than about 40-50 feet. I do enjoy being able to adjust the volume and type of chime!

Customer service was great and the product arrived on a timely basis. However, even though it works well it only dings one time per ring instead of “ding dong” which is what we discussed it to be capable of doing at the time of order.

I have a hard wired door bell at home. Would like to add a second wireless chime that would work with main chime. Thinking that there could be a transmitter wired to main chime that would when activated transmit wirelessly to battery powered second chime.

I learn alot about a company when things don’t go smoothly. I purchased an entry door alert receiver that was priced reasonably and shipped quickly. Unfortunately, the receiver was not compatible with the older transmitter I was using. Support worked with me to determine this. When it was determined it would not work, the company made returning the item for refund easy. I will go back to 1800doorbell in the future if I need anything they carry.

Already had one doorbell extender receiver installed in the house but wasn’t hearing the doorbell well in one area of the house.
This product seamlessly added a second doorbell by simply plugging into the wall outlet with no extra configuring.
I also like thar the older doorbell extender was 10 years old and the newer product seamlessly worked.

About 4 years ago I purchased a door chime receiver and button kit by Carlon from Amazon since our current doorbell was not working well. I finally got around to replacing the old one with the Carlon. It worked well but I needed a second chime receiver in a different part of the house. I sent a message to 1800doorbell hoping to get advice since a new receiver might not work with a 4 year old button. I was advised that it would work, and it did!! I was surprised to even get a reply from 1800doorbell. It is refreshing to find a company that replies quickly and they have actually asked me if things worked out. These doorbell kits are not expensive and the work well with clear instructions written in English (not from a confusing translation from Chinese). I would certainly buy a door chime kit from this company again.
