ERA-PBTX Wireless Push Button for Commercial Use
ERA-PBTX 4000 ft Range Wireless Push Button
ERA-PBTX Stylish Push Button for Business Back View

The ERA-PBDCR is an advanced commercial door chime kit featuring a stylish wireless push button and a powerful desktop receiver. With a wireless range of up to 4,000 ft., this powerful kit has the signal strength to penetrate concrete walls, stucco, & metal doors while traversing long distances.

The ERA-PBDCR features two components the ERA-DCRX desktop receiver and the stylish ERA-PBTX. After a quick programming set-up, mount the push button to an exterior wall using the provided mounting screws or double-sided tape, and plug in the receiver & you’ll stop missing critical deliveries or visitors to your office, warehouse, or home.

Homeowners & business users who shy away from wireless doorbells and entrance alert products usually have had a bad experience with wireless products because the range of previous products wasn’t strong enough to work correctly at their location. This problem is solved with the ERA series of products by Safeguard Supply.

Components of the ERA-PBDCR Commercial Door Chime Kit:

This is a complete kit featuring a push button and receiver. Still, like all ERA products (except the ERA-PIR-SPK, which is a standalone product), additional sensors/transmitters & receivers are compatible with one another. You can add a push-button, sensors, and receivers to the system to expand usage to other locations.

When you need a commercial doorbell buzzer system, this is the best bang for your buck you’re going to find!

  1. Customer

Can you add a 2nd door button ? One for the front door & one for the back door? If so how do we buy just a second door button? The kit is sold with one door button only.
    Thanks
    Paul

  2. 1800Doorbell

Good morning. The ERA series is compatible with up to 12 push button transmitters and an unlimited amount of chime receivers. The additional push button is available on the product page under ‘accessories and add-ons’ and the sku is ERA-PBTX. The cost for the additional push button is $34.99. Here’s a link: Hello,

Yes, you can add a second push button (the same one you have in the kit) by clicking this link: https://secure.1800doorbell.com/era-pbtx-wireless-push-button-with-almost-1-mile-range.htm

You can add up to 13 transmitters/sensors per receiver (the push button is a transmitter). You would pair it to the receiver the same way you did the first push button

    Thank you,

  3. Jose Tejeda

Is this a plug-in or battery operated receiver?

  4. Rafael Arroyo

I’ve purchased several wireless door bells that supposedly work well and long distance they were all garbage. but when I got this one I put threw the test I set it up and literally walked 2 blocks away from my house and had my wife on the phone and pressed the push button bell this thing worked like a charm. I’ve had for a week now and each time is has worked great unlike the others bells that I bought only rang or worked randomly. I would definitely recommend this doorbell to family and friends

  5. Albert Eberling

How many receivers come with it

  6. Children’s Rights Collaborative

The doorbell is just what we needed. We couldn’t hear clients coming to the door that is far from the office. The bell was pretty easy to install. Thank you.

  7. Leon Batson

    Love sound.

  8. SEA Chicago

If we add additional push button transmitters, can we assign a different chime to each so we know which door (we will have 3 doors).

If we add additional push button transmitters, can we assign a different chime to each so we know which door (we will have 3 doors).

  10. 1800Doorbell

The ERA-DCRX (receiver in the referenced kit) can work with up to 12 different transmitters. Each transmitter is added to one of the four zones on the receiver, and each zone will play the selected melody.

By comparison, the ERA-RXPG (Seen in the ERA-DCKIT) uses the same push button and can work with up to 12 transmitters. Each transmitter can have its distinct melody.

  11. Larry Macy

We purchased this for a rather unorthodox reason. My FIL lives next door and is elderly. So the bell is at our house (over 100 yds away), and the button is at his house. He just pushes the button when he needs us if his phone isn’t handy. It’s great! We think we need a few more buttons though. It’s easy to program/set up, and works like a charm! We definitely recommend it!

Phone number to speak to a person to ask about this door bell. Part number is: ERA – PBDCR
    Thank you

  13. Deborah Freeley

How do you attach the actual doorbell to the outside of your door? Does it require drilling or nailing?

  14. Michael Adams

what do i need to have a chime in (2) different areas, another receiver? part number please.

    thank you.
    Mike

  15. Anthony Khoury

Easy to set up 2 transmitters.

  16. Thomas Reuter

It’s a great door chime, my gate is 300’ away from my house. When you push the button, it’s nice and loud in my house. Now we know when someone is trying to get in. Thanks

  17. Dean Wada

We have a gym and classrooms in separate areas of the building and need to hear the doorbell.

We have a back door and front door. Can we have two receivers connected to the two transmitters. Can I have a different sound for the back door from the front door? If so what models numbers should I order?

  18. 1800Doorbell

Yes, absolutely. In that case, get two kits, which gives you two receivers and two push buttons. When programming, you would pair button 1 to zone 1 on receivers one and two, and choose a meloy for zone 1. Program button 2 to zone 2 on both receivers and pick a melody for zone 2 that is different than zone 1.

Alternatively, you can see a similar ERA product here: https://secure.1800doorbell.com/era-dckit-wireless-door-chime-kit-guaranteed-to-work-in-your-location.htm all ERA products are compatible with one another and you can mix and match receiver types.

  19. James Bartalotta (verified owner)

I have an issue with my existing doorbells system – it is a cheap one from Amazon. It chimes by itself quite often. Does this device have technology to prevent that?

Also I’m in need of 2 receivers and 4 transmitters,. Am I able to program each transmitter to play a different chime?

  20. 1800Doorbell

The ERA system would not randomly chime unless something is triggering the motion sensor in this kit. When the battery is low in the motion sensor, the receiver will double-play the selected melody when activated by the motion sensor.

To your second question, yes. The ERA-DCRX (the receiver in the kit) has four zones. Each zone can accommodate up to three different transmitters/sensors. A melody is assigned to a zone. In your case, I would assign sensor one to zone one, assign a melody, then assign the second sensor to zone 2, and assign a different melody.

Purchase was straight forward and the shipping and packaging was excellent. Easy set up and can be heard far away.
