Maybe you only want to notice your doorbell when there is a visitor at your door! The CB-REC is a recessed doorbell chime that you can paint to match any décor. Once this doorbell is recessed into your wall, it almost looks like an air-conditioner vent. The doorbell is shipped in a matte-white finish, which is attractive itself but is also paintable to match your walls or decor.
Perfect doorbell for office or any other environment where you don’t want people to notice your doorbell, the product cover is an off-white, matte finish plastic cover that looks more like a cooling vent rather than a door chime. Once recessed into the wall, you can paint this doorbell to match any wall color or decor.
Because of the styling of this recessed doorbell chime, it tends to be a little louder than most standard doorbells. The inner workings of this doorbell are the same as most others, but most wired doorbells have a solid cabinet. This one features a grille cover allowing sound to escape more easily.

Didn’t like our bulky doorbell placement and switching out with an almost identical unit except for the fit and mounting was much better than trying to move the original one.
