How is the button mounted?

The back plate is mounted using double-sided tape or mounting screws. The top half of the push button snaps on the back plate.

Chime seems well made for a chime this inexpensive. Easy to set up and get operating. Easy to use. The double sided tape that came with the chime buttons could be thicker. The surface you mount the chime button on must be very smooth. I had to mount the chime buttons using the screws.
