A Wireless Long Range Doorbell Kit Packed with Features:  Strobe Light, Loud, & Expandable!

If you have been searching for a long-range wireless doorbell, you probably know how difficult they are to find!  Most wireless door chimes will top out with a maximum wireless range of 150 ft.  That is why we are thrilled with this chime! This wireless long-range door chime has a range of up to 1,000 feet and is packed with great features.  Small businesses use this wireless door chime with wireless door chime buttons on the front and back doors of offices. 

We recommend the ERA-UTDCR for larger facilities. In our 10,000-square-foot warehouse, constructed of metal and cinder block, this door chime has the necessary power to work at ranges most wireless chime products simply cannot.

You may also expand the door chime by adding push buttons.  Because the LRA-D1000 can play up to 32 different melodies, you can distinguish which push button is being pushed by the sound of the chime chosen for each button. It is possible to use 4 different buttons per receiver.

Another great feature of the LRA-D1000 is the bright LED that can be set to flash when the bell is triggered.   A selector switch on the side of the door chime can be set to “flash,” “chime,” or “flash and chime.”  This makes the door chime an excellent product for residential applications for the hard of hearing or in noisy, commercial environments.  This door chime has four zones.  

This is a great long-range wireless doorbell for shops, businesses, and warehouses.  If you have a significant amount of concrete, steel, or other interference and the distance from the transmitter to the receiver is over 700 ft., we recommend the ERA-UTDCR Long Range Door Chime.

    We are using this at our church for security reasons. We bought 3 receivers and 1 button so to be placed in various locations in our facility. With almost no effort we had the button programmed to the three receivers and it is working perfectly. We are pleased.

    One of the receivers for our previous wireless doorbell failed recently. We discovered that the manufacturer had stopped making that doorbell system. Meanwhile, our daughter and her family live in a different house on the same 8-1/2 acre property, but we use the same driveway and entry gate. When we bought our previous wireless doorbell quite a few years ago, the longest range unit we could find would not reach from our entry gate to my daughter’s place. Hence, she had been living without a doorbell for many years.

    We were delighted to find this wireless doorbell with a nominal 1000-foot range. We bought one to replace our doorbell and a second one for our daughter’s place. Originally, we had been concerned about potential interference between the two doorbell buttons (transmitters) mounted side-by-side at our entry gate. However, the helpful folks at 1800Doorbell assured us that would not be a problem… and they proved correct. These doorbells were easy to set up (i.e., to sync each transmitter button with its respective receivers), and are working well in both houses. The selection of 18 different ring tones and the volume controls on the receivers also are nice touches. The volume control ranges from silent to a LOUD 90 dB, giving the user plenty of flexibility.

    Although we decided NOT to add other accessories (such as a driveway alarm or door/window alarms) at this time, we were impressed by the versatility and expandability of these systems. I also would like to commend the people at 1800Doorbell.com. Before placing our order, I telephoned them to ask a number of questions… and found them to be very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Both my wife and I, and our daughter and her family, are totally satisfied and very pleased with our new doorbells.

    So far everything is as I was told it would be. We put the receiver in our sound control booth at the rear of the church. We pressed the button from various locations and it connected every time. I do not expect any problems when everything is in final position. This will make it possible to know when someone with a handicap is entering building that needs assistance.

    My concern was that the doorbell would not be loud enough. But it is plenty loud. It was for my mother who is hard of hearing. But you can hear this throughout the house easily. And, there were about 20-30 options on ring tone. Also, we pair up two ringers and two receivers. So one rang from the back door and one the front. And we gave a different ring tone for each so she would know which door was ringing. She placed one receiver in the kitchen and other in the living room and they work great. They both ring when either ringer is pushed and they both give the ringtone we programmed. Good product. Very satisfied.

    I have a blind grandson. He likes to explore around in the fenced in back yard by himself sometimes. He doesn’t realize we are there keeping an eye out for him but we do let him explore on his own. This door bell lets him have the independence he longs for and it gives us the piece of mind that he will be able to find his way when he’s ready to come inside.     I purchased a unit..(LRA-D1000A).in May of this year..the chime and button are approx 100′ apart…in a commercial warehouse..the signal needs to penetrate through 2 fire walls..and a metal rack with boxes on them..the unit stop working….but if I move the chime closer to the button it will work..I have to move it on the other side of the fire wall before it will work…any reccomendations???..maybe a different unit???..is there a booster for the unit???I will await for your response..thanks…JOE

    Got tired of buying the home units from HD that didn’t have the range or ate batteries like crazy and then just stopped working. We have a small manufacturing plant and in today,s world we have to keep the front door locked. So I needed something for the front door and our back receiving door about 100′ away. Set it up with 2 different rings so I know what door to go too. And since this takes an AC adapter…No more batteries!

    This was my third try at installing a door bell. The first lasted only two months when one of two chimes failed. The second system looked like it was the deal. I got it all set up and the chimes were receiving the transmitter and the chimes were plenty loud. That night the chimes started sounding on their own and couldn’t be silenced with out removing the power. This unit is near three weeks old and is still working. I’ve already got my monies worth.     Living in a city with an uncomfortable amount of property crime, we had a locked fence installed around our front yard, but it complicates things when visitors and deliveries arrive. Now, people can simply ring the bells which I screwed into the mailboxes. The range is good enough to serve the tenants in the rear apartment.
    I’m thinking about getting another button.
    I’m not sure why the receiver doesn’t come with the AC adapter, but I don’t have the patience for C batteries, so I opted to plug it in.

    This typically means the batteries in the receiver need to be replaced, assuming you are not using a plug. If the zone light number flashes, this signal the respective transmitter/sensor paired to that zone needs to be replaced. When the strobe light flashes, randomly, this points to the receiver batteries.

    We installed this door bell while mom was on vacation. Went by upon her return and said, I think we need to test the door bell, she said OK. Well to her shock, she said “what its that” and I said it’s your new door bell. We tested in several locations and she could hear the bell. I don’t think I will have to call her on the phone to get her to answer the door. Too bad they don’t make a bell for the phone, because that is a hit and miss still for the phone ringing.     Don’t recall encountering service at this level in decades, if ever …..and I’m 77.9 years old. Reached out to customer service to inquire about availability of parts for a partially functional old doorbell system and encountered the most patient, gracious, knowledgeable and attentive representative that be imagined. After several unrushed minutes it was determined that finding the needed parts for a obsolete system from a previously good, but now failed defunct company, wasn’t a reasonable choice the customer service representative went above and beyond.
