I just bought this doorbell and everything is great! The LED’s work, except, when I installed my Ring Doorbell battery packs (two, front and back door), the LED’s don’t work anymore. I honestly don’t know much about electrical work, but my mind says something that there might be resistance? How could I make this light up again? Any help is appreciated!

My wife and I were very pleased on how good looking the doorbell is! It is very modern looking and the description of the color and design was spot on. Quality is very good. Way better than anything you’d find at lowes or home depot, this is something you would find at a higher end store. Installation was simple. Only problem, and I am talking with Craftmade on a solution, if you have a ring doorbell or two (front/rear/side door bell) and you hook the battery packs up to this new doorbell, the LED lights will not work. I’m thinking its a resistance thing. If you don’t hook up the battery packs the ring won’t work, but, the LED’s work and the doorbell is beautiful! Hopefully I find a solution for the Ring Door Bell batter packs and the LED’S!

Attractive and unique design, traditional dingdong chime is loud and clear. LED illumination is the perfect touch. Glad there’s at least one company still making traditional wired doorbells!

Everything is wonderful about this chime, except… I wish the chime cover could have been hung horizontally not vertically. That was my thinking when I ordered it and it did not specify in the description before ordering. A little disappointed.

I wanted something that didn’t look like a cheap grade contractor door bell for my craftsman style house. This fit the bill. The guts are the same mechanism of the cheap one I took off my 15 year old house. Made it easy to install. But part you see is very nice and well made. The sound is the same. I wish they made it in white. I might paint mine to better match my interior.
