Safeguard Supply LRA-RPX 1000 Ft. Range Extender Battery Operated

(3 customer reviews)
$19.95

Note:  This is only compatible with the “non-L” series of LRA products.  For example, if your existing push button is LRA-PBTX-L or the receiver is LRA-DCRXA-L, this will not be compatible.  Extend the range of your LRA wireless system by another 1000 feet.  For an extended range, place this “repeater” between your transmitter and chime receiver.  The receiver is battery-operated, and no setup or pairing is required.

Description

The LRA-RPX is a relay/extender that can increase the range of your LRA wireless alert system up to an additional 1,000 ft.  The LRA system has a line-of-site range of up to 1,000 ft.  Environmental factors will cut down on this range, meaning in a real-world environment, wall materials, terrain, and other factors that cause interference will diminish the effective range of any wireless kit.

This product will add 1,000 ft. to the system by taking in the wireless signal, amplifying it, and sending it back out.  Place the LRA-RPX between (preferably centrally located)  the transmitter and the receiver.  No, set up required; place the unit, and turn it on.

Indoor rated only!

I explained my problem with the lady who answered my phone call. She she listened courteously and then suggested the device needed to correct my problem. She told me the price, took my payment method, and shipped it as promised. I received the part shortly afterward, anxiously installed it and “PRESTO”, my problem was solved!! Its nice to deal with someone who is knowledgeable and professional. I am a happy and satisfied customer.

Works great. Gives me the coverage that I needed. Now I know which door to go to.

Our 1800’s masonry church had a doorbell transmitter that couldn’t penetrate the massive walls and many chambers between the South Entrance and the Church Office. With this LRA-RPX 1000 Ft. Range Extender we are back in business

Can we have a series of LRA-RPX repeaters relay the doorbell signal? We are looking at replacing our dead doorbell system (strobes for hearing impaired) with a wireless system. We are a Deaf church in a 3 story Victorian house. There really is no line of sight. Social hall and kitchens on the 1st floor, offices on the 2nd floor, priests’ bedrooms on the 3rd floor. All are deaf, so the strobe receivers are needed on all 3 floors.

Can I place repeaters on the each stair landing so that the doorbell signal is handed-off to the 2nd and 3rd floors and their receivers?

Good morning. Due to the size of the area, we would recommend the ERA-DCKIT which has a a range of up to 4000 feet. Each of the ERA-RXPG receivers have a flashing strobe light and you can add on as many additional receivers as you would need. The ERA system is also compatible with up to 12 door transmitters. I have included the links below but please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you,
