Description
State-of-the-art indoor passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor used to detect entrance into a facility. Works great in areas where interference from metal or concrete may interfere with magnetic door/window contact. This sensor is triggered with a combination of heat and movement detected by the sensor. When triggered, the sensor will transmit a wireless signal to compatible receivers in the LRA series such as the LRA-DCRX Strobe Receiver, LRA-VPRX Portable Receiver that Vibrates, and the new arrivals by Safeguard Supply, the LRA-DCRXS Plug-in Strobe Receiver, and the LRA-DCRXA Battery Operated Receiver.

Thank you for handling my request, everything arrived as promised. Appreciate the follow up.

We have used many types of door chimes to alert our employees that a customer has entered our store. They are often busy stocking shelves our working in the back room or coolers. Without 1800Doorbell, our customers would not be attended and our employees would be at risk. Thanks

I am looking at the LRA-M1000. I have 2 doors to monitor. Can I add another LRA-MSTX and have 1 receiver work with both sensors ?
Joseph R Spadea Jr –
It is the best of several I have tried in the past including the famous x-10. Simple to set up and works well over 200feet away from receiver. I have put the motion detector in my mailbox out at the edge of the street; now I know when mail has been delivered to my mailbox which I can not see from my home.
Mark LaClair –
Has a very broad detection area, so we narrowed it with tape. Works perfectly.

I purchased the LRA-DCRXA. Will the LRA-MSTX work with this chime? I am currently using the magnetic sensor, and the chime works intermittently. The current chime is less than 100 feet from the sensor. I need something that is more dependable. I feel
Like the infrared will work better. What are your thiughts?

Is there a silent mode? We don’t want any sound, but we would like the strobe to tell us someone is right outside the door before we push it open and have a collision.
1800Doorbell –
We are planning to discontinue this item so I would not recommend it. It is up on the website for people who already have that line of products. I would recommend https://secure.1800doorbell.com/era-prxpg-kit-motion-triggers-receiver-up-to-4000-ft-away.htm
The motion sensor sends a wireless signal to the plugin receiver. You can turn the volume down to mute if you want.
