Is there a way to “silence” the chime? If the strobe is triggered by a motion sensor then the concept seems like a good visual. We currently have a motion sensor device where a chime goes off when movement is detected. This has become quite annoying. Yet we need something to indicate someone has entered the front office. Any other information you can provide? Thank you.

It really depends on the product. The WDK-ERA-STROBE by Safeguard Supply (https://secure.1800doorbell.com/wdk-era-strobe-warehouse-doorbell-kit-strobe.htm) has a strobe and the receiver has volume control. You toggle the volume control button to actually silence the chime receiver.
