    Purchased for a large distribution facility to let employees know when drivers have entered the cage for shipping/pickup. Tried off the shelf solution from big box stores with high hopes but higher failures!
    Purchased this unit after I saw one in use at another building and installed it the same day it arrived. The button is placed about 300′ from the receiver, and we haven’t missed a driver yet! Works as advertised. We are not signaling thru concrete, but there are many obstacles, such as machinery and racking that have not been an issue with this system. couldn’t be happier.

    It works just like they said it would. We bought so drivers could ring the bell when they arrive at our dock door. Remote receivers work’s very well back in our warehouse which is 250 feet from the doorbell.

    Used 2 of the LH-2500 units to set up a wireless panic button system for a convenience store. Transmitters are in the store and the receivers are in 2 separate buildings 500ft away. A single button push set off both receivers. This was the solution they have been looking for for years!

    This is the strongest system that we carry, with a wireless signal of up to 2500 feet. The steel door would definitely detract from the signal but it should work with the 90 feet distance.

    The ERA-UTX does feature a relay. You can connect a push button to that relay and when the wired push button is pressed, it will trigger the UTX to transmit a radio signal to the receiver. If the UTX is paired or programmed to the corresponding zone, then that 12V DC output will trigger if either is pressed (the wireless UTX or the wired push button).

    The reality is that in both situations, the UTX is triggered. Since the wired push button is wired into the UTX, it will transmit if someone pushed the button on the UTX or the connected wired push button.

    I bought some cheap POS from a general store because I was trying to save money, and it bit me in the butt. The thing didn’t work reliably, wasn’t loud enough, just nothing but problems. So I found 1800Doorbell, a company that specializes in the thing I needed, told them what my issues were and got a product recomendation.

    This door chime is perfect! It works every time, doesn’t have an annoying sound, has the range I needed, and multiple receivers so I my crew can hear the door when working in all areas of the shop.

    So instead of saving money, I spent extra money on garbage from some place else, and still had to shell out a fair price for the right product from 1800Doorbell. Next time I’ll just order the right thing from the people who know what they’re doing.

    This worked out great for us. Of course if we wanted to spend much more we could have put a radio system in place of the doorbell but this system has served its purpose. We have a fairly big warehouse, nearly 4k sqft and these will hit almost every corner of it. They could be a little louder but as long you have them placed properly on your body you should have no problem with them.

    We are an ac integrator and began to have issues with the doorbell randomly chiming through the house music system . It’s 10k sq ft house . We used the existing doorbell button and hard wired it to the new interface at the av rack put a chime receiver on each floor for a total Of 4 and system works flawlessly .

    This system did everything i hoped for and more. Sturdy design and construction? Yes! Transmitters mount on metal doors? No problem! Transmit though metal, concrete, and wood walls over long distance? No problem! Transmit vertically and at distance (2nd floor)? No problem! Variable volume (hearing impaired) and good selection of sounds? Yes! Multiple zone and accessory setup? Yes! Easy setup and programming? Definitely!

    It would be nice if the system had a repeat or duration function so that it could chime or play sounds more than twice or longer if so desired.

    After trying other wired and wireless systems, i have finally found one that is excellent in all regards. It is a relief to know that if there are visitors or deliveries at the door, that i will not miss them.
