When the spec says 8-24v, how bright will the button be on a 12v system? I’m hoping since it is LED it’ll still be good. I intend to have it powered by my solar system (batteries: 12vdc @ 700amp/hr storage). The button I have now is not bright and I’d not wish to purchase this, wait for delivery and then find it’s not really any brighter. BTW, nice selection!

The dimensions of the box seem to be close to a light switch plate. WE are wondering if the screws that attach the door bell to the wall would line up with a light switch box.
