There hasn’t been much innovation in the wired doorbell world in many years until Craftmade developed the TB series of wired doorbell buttons. Before addressing the new technology of these buttons, it’s worth mentioning the chime’s design. The base of this surface-mounted button is rectangular, but the outer surface is rounded, giving it a very contemporary look. Available in an aged iron or brushed nickel finish, this button is an easy to mount surface mounted.
The button is lighted by an LED bulb that illuminates a soft, warm glow to greet your customers. With traditional buttons, there’s usually an actual protruding button your visitors press to trigger the doorbell. That’s where the “TB” series of wired doorbell buttons differ. These buttons work with a simple touch of the finger to the lighted portion of the button. This makes the button different and offers designers an elegant way to design the button any way they want!

We do not sell the Ring Pro so I cannot confirm this. I would definitely check with them. In theory, it should as long as your wired doorbell transformer has the correct VA (wattage) to power both your Ring Pro camera and the wired chime receiver. There are some other variables involved like length of wire run, so check with Ring and a qualified electrician.

Will this trigger the chime if a big old wolf spider roams across it, or if a big old moth or june bug or other insect attracted by the light lands on or crashes into it?

That answer of 01/28/2022 regarding heat activation doesn’t make sense to me. If the button is triggered by heat of a human touch, what if the human touching it is wearing gloves in the wintertime?
Will the doorbell ring non-stop on a summer day with an ambient temperature at or above 98.6 degrees F ?

So if it’s heat-triggered, will it trigger the chime non-stop on a day where the ambient temperature exceeds 98.6 degrees fahrenheit? How do you sell these in the South and Southwest?

I bought a Tb1020 and the handyman said it was faulty. I ordered another one—if the brushed nickel cover is off, it rings. When they put the cover on, it wont ring. I was told the sensor was not sensitive enough. I am 0 for 2. Any suggestions? Thank you.
