This Item is nice looking but of poor quality, for instance the screws that
hold the wires are so short that putting a solid wire ( not stranded ) under them was a real challenge. Also the fact that the light did not work after installation,
confirms to me the poor quality of it.
That is true of many products made in China.

A customer has bought the Craftmade C3-PW. Her current doorbell is equipped with a diode. Do I need this diode for the current chime?

I’ve yet to install it but it looks good. A bit on the expensive side. The flat mount makes it easy to replace the current broken one.
