I’ve thought and thought about how to describe this wired chime by Craftmade. Like all the ICH series of chimes, this chime is illuminated by a led (dimmable) bulb that sits behind the frosted glass. The aged bronze finish that surrounds the glass is lines and circles that intersect to create a geometric design. Modern? Mission? Craftsman? Deco-art? I’m honestly not sure what bucket of interior design this chime goes into, but it’s cool!

1) Is this the part that goes on the inside of the house
2) What are the dimensions
I am thinking this goes on the inside and then I would purchase the craftsman TB1060 doorbell button for the outside. Would I need anything else for the install?

Yes, this chime would be mounted inside of the house. The measurements are:

There is knob available on the chime to adjust the LED bulb.

We bought this doorbell. Is the light supposed to be in all the time? It flashes when the doorbell rings but I was under the impression it would glow like a nightlight. Curious if something isnât working on ours or we installed it incorrectly (we used an electrician).

That is correct. The wired doorbell is drawing power from the doorbell transformer.

Ultimately, it really depends on the doorbell transformer that would power the ring.com unit AND the wired doorbell. We recommend something like the DH1910 on our website which has 10VA, which should be enough.

Does the geometric design chime come in other colors? Iâm specifically looking for black box with silver/nickel design and white frosted glass, or all back or all nickel box and design. Thanks for your consideration. This design closely resembles the design on the door, but the door is black with silver canes in the glass.

Is the ICH1660-OB compatible with Nest door bell/camera?

Technically speaking, yes. However, since the Ring.com camera doorbell uses more amperage than a common doorbell, you need to make sure the wired doorbell transformer is at least 30VA.
