A Wireless Door Contact Entry Alarm Kit with a 1,000 Ft. Range
This contact-based entrance alert kit comes with two pieces – a contact for monitoring the door or window and a flashing strobe chime.
This long-range powerful alert kit is ideal for alerting when a customer or guest opens the door. Or, monitor dressing room doors, storage areas, back doors, sensitive areas, doors leading to pools/outdoors, etc. The possibilities are endless.
Once the sensor is broken by a door or window opening, a signal is sent to the receiver. The powerful chime has three modes: chime only, LED flashing strobe only, or chime and strobes light together. Choose from 18 CHIME SOUNDS. Volume control manages a 90 decibel chime. The flashing strobe will repeat 28 times in a short burst designed to catch the eye.
The receiver requires 3 “C” batteries (not included) or can be changed to a plug-in unit with the Plug-In Adapter option (LRA-PLUG), sold separately).
This LONG RANGE ALERT is perfect for retail locations or large home applications.

I am a therapist who does not have a receptionist. So I purchased this wireless doorbell so that my clients can alert me when they arrive. I placed the receiver in mute mode to turn off the chimes so only the light flashes. It has simplified my life so I don’t have to walk down the hall to the wait room until my clients arrive. I ordered my kit on Friday and received it Monday. My “receptionist” was working for me within minutes.

We ordered this for our store because the old one stopped working all the time, it also had a delay when it did work. This one however is fantastic! It “chimes” as soon as the door is opened. The sound is loud enough that we can hear it over drills and other shop tools. Set up was easy and quick. The flashing light is nice as well but we always hear the chime. Well worth the money!

I bought the LRAA-C1000 and I thought I could add on additional strobe lights, but I just went on to see accessories and add ons and there were no add on strobe lights. Can I add on strobe lights? that was my main goal if the product worked satisfactorily I would buy strobe lights to add on. We have a dog Grooming & Kennel and with the dogs barking and dryers it is hard to hear buzzers ect. so we were hope if we could add strobe lights in strategic locations we would never miss a customer come in the door. Please let me know my alternatives.

This is the best door bell I have found that can be heard over high velocity dryers and dogs barking. I had thought I could add additional strobe lights, but the only thing I can add is additional receivers with the strobe in them.

Unfortunately we have aluminum doors and it interfered with the magnet so we called customer service and To make a long story short they offered to pick up the unit and ship us a new one and all at NO CHARGE. For someone adept, can access be obtained to the magnetically activated switch in the transmitter so it can be overridden? I would like to replace it with small remote magnetic reed switch wired a few feet from the transmitter.

The LRA-C1000 has a decibel rating of 90 so at full volume, it could definitely be heard within that space. This system is also compatible with multiple receivers (the LRA-DCRX) if necessary. Thank you,

Good morning. The LRA-C1000 will only sound when the door is opened and the magnets separate, it will not continue to sound until turned off. I would recommend the HS4313 or the HS4317D, both of these alerts will continue to sound until they are disarmed. Thank you,
