The other day I was watching a home makeover type show on HGTV and immediately thought of this doorbell. The couple had a complete redesign of their living room and the only thing I noticed out of place was the doorbell in the foyer. With all the work they did, they finished it off with a boring white doorbell like the ones the home builder would install…..if only they visited 1800doorbell first!
This sleek, contemporary design. the ICH1405-PT Craftmade Half Cylinder Styled Frosted Glass with Pewter Finished Trim is just what you need to complement the décor of your contemporary, modern home. The pewter frame with a frosted white glass design looks nothing like a boring doorbell. It will give your foyer that little extra something! Two notes designate the front door and a single note for a secondary door.
The pewter frame has 6 buttons on them that look like rivets and surrounds the white frosted glass. What a beauty.
This chime can be mounted vertically or horizontally to accommodate most spaces. This is a wired doorbell and a 16volt transformer is recommended.

What transformer is required for this chime? I currently have a 16-10V but will upgrade to 24V to install a Nest doorbell.

Is the light only activated when the doorbell rings or will it light continuously? (Almost acting as a night light)
