Hello,
I just received my unit and discovered the cover does not fit over the chime unless the chime is installed in the horizontal position. Will the chime operate properly if installed horizontal instead of vertical as per the instructions?

Looks very nice. The outer frame requires installing the inner chimes box vertically. The chimes work vertically, but I suspect they were designed to be installed horizontally. The sound isn’t as nice.
1800Doorbell –
The ICH1505-BK has an adjustable LED light that stays lighted, until the chime is sounding. It will flash twice as “ding-dong” is sounded.
